Welcome to the Field Notes. We're starting this dev log the same way we hunt — quietly, and on purpose. From here on we'll share the making of Hunting of the Dead as it actually happens: progress, new features, art, sound, and the occasional dead end.
No fixed schedule, no marketing gloss — just honest notes from the studio, posted as the work gets done. Slowly at first, then more often as the world takes shape.
To start: the main theme
Every hunt needs a sound. This is the main theme of Hunting of the Dead — a slow, grinding rock riff, somewhere in Green Day "Brain Stew" territory, that sits under the whole game. It was composed with ElevenLabs, and it's the pulse we're building everything else around.
If that riff burrows into your skull and won't leave — good, that's the whole idea. Subscribe below to get the next field note before anyone else, and follow along as the dead start to move.
